Our Story

Carson & I met at the end of 2016. We met through his former band, The Stonecoats. Call it fate, call it whatever you want - Carson and I both knew we were meant to be together the moment we saw one another.

We met for coffee at Sneaky Beans in Fondren, MS and what was supposed to be a quick coffee date turned into a four hour conversation. We talked about everything under the sun, getting to know each others likes and dislikes, as well as, what we hoped for the future. We spoke about our families and friends and where we saw ourselves in the upcoming years. We quickly found out we had a lot in common.

Soon, we became inseparable, spending all of our free time together, meeting each other’s friends and family. Luckily for me, Carsons friends and family welcomed me in with loving arms.

We started officially dating in January of 2017.

From the moment I met Carson, our lives have been a whirlwind. As most of you probably know, hanging around the Bristow/Olmsted family gives you a lot of funny and sometimes unbelievable stories to tell. Never the less, we were both instantly all in.

Over the last 7 years, Carson and I have been through a lot together. We have lived many lives and been with each other through many phases and seasons. I have been so blessed to have Carson by my side through some of the hardest moments of my life and I have been so thankful to be able to be there for Carson through some of his hardest moments.

Carson proposed on June 4, 2023 at the his family’s land, Cedar Stump Farms. This location meant a lot to the both of us as it has been in the family for decades and was where Carson’s grandfather, Rob, lived out the last years of his life.

Since June of 2023, a lot has happened that has forced us to push our wedding off. However, we are so ecstatic to finally be officially married to one another and cannot wait to share the day with you.
